Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

Positively Nutty (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect and otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) when you visit our website or book one of our yoga classes, retreats or holidays.

Cookies and IP addresses

We may store information about you using cookies (small files sent to your computer or device) which we can access when you visit our website again. We may also collect your device’s IP address as part of the basic functioning of this website. We do this to allow the site to function properly and to collect anonymous information about how it is used through Google Analytics.

If you wish to stop or control the use of cookies, please refer to your browser’s settings. Please note that by deleting or disabling cookies you may not be able to access certain features of our site. We honour Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals and do not allow third-party behavioural tracking.

Personal data collected at the time of booking

When you book with us you will be asked to complete a form. A certain amount of personal data is collected at this point, typically your name, email address and telephone number. This is for the purposes of meeting insurance criteria, as well as for your health and safety while attending our retreats and holidays, and to keep you informed about the retreat you have booked.

All information gathered is treated as confidential and is kept securely. It is only viewed by Positively Nutty and, where relevant, the teacher and venue of the retreat or holiday on which you have booked. Payments are handled by our payment partner, PayPal. All card details submitted to PayPal are held securely by PayPal and are covered by their own privacy policy at paypal.com. We never ask for or store your card details ourselves.

How we use your information

We may use the information we collect from you to:

  • Personalise your experience and deliver the content most relevant to you.
  • Respond to your enquiries and customer service requests.
  • Follow up after correspondence (email, phone or contact form).
  • Keep you informed about the details of a retreat or class you have booked.

Mailing list

Direct marketing emails about new and future retreats come through a secure, permission-based email system administered by our hosting provider. When you make a booking you will be invited to opt in to our mailing list by ticking a box. We will never add you without your consent. You can change your subscription preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email, or by emailing us at yoga@positivelynutty.com.

How we protect your information

We use reputable, secure third-party providers to host our website, store booking data and process payments. Your data is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access is restricted to those who need it to operate our business. While no method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, we take reasonable steps to safeguard your personal information.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties without giving you advance notice. This does not include trusted partners who help us operate our website, conduct our business or serve you (such as our hosting, analytics and payment providers), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our policies, or protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.

Links to other websites

Positively Nutty is not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our site, nor for the content contained in them. When you follow a link to another website, this privacy policy no longer applies. Your browsing and interaction on any other website is subject to that website’s own rules and policies.

Children’s privacy

We do not specifically market to, or knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13.

Your rights & data breaches

You may request to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing us. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you by email within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you by email.
